APSCHE officials preparing for Eamcet 2012 web counselling will be in July 2nd week. But after court decisions on engineering fees 240 colleges apply for fee review. In real only 50 to 60 engineering colleges follow AICTC norms.More than 200 colleges submitted the applications for fee review, in those 50 to 60 colleges are followed all the norms and submitted the necessary documents. Some colleges submitted review applications without any supporting documents. Study all the proposals before web counselling very tough work in a short time.Unless the fee structure is decided the engineering web counselling cannot be started. From this year NRI quota will be contained to 5% as per the AICTE new norms. The NRI quota will be applicable to only the sons and daughters of NRIs from now onwards rather than NRI sponsored Indian students. This decision is big shock to some colleges, which were admitting NRI students with a higher fee up to 15 per cent of seats.
